I am a born and raised Californian that moved to Minnesota with my husband and kids in 2009.   I always have an excuse for things and I am trying to change that to have explanations - as in take responsibility.  In taking responsibility I am accomplishing the things I have always wanted to- like starting a blog.

I blog as a way to Journal, Vent and Share:

Journal-because my memory isn't what it use to be and it's never been great.

Vent- hey, a girl has got to vent every once in a while!  Although I really do try to stay clear of being preachy, judgy or annoying... (can't always promise on the latter).

Share- I love to share tips and different things I have tried and tested.  For example, most of my Pinterest creations have not worked... not sure if it is me (full disclosure I do consider myself somewhat crafty) or if I just pick impossible projects.  I also love to share family stories- especially from my childhood.  Growing up my mom was always sharing stuff from her past, so I have this bug in me to share- plus it's a great excuse to post some fabulous 80s pictures of my siblings!
